We found an injured kitten which could not move his back legs. After consultations with the top veterinary specialist at Stanford. We were told he would forever be in a wheelchair as he had spinal nerve damage. I asked if there was anything left to try and one vet lightly mentioned acupuncture. After looking for an acupuncture specialist for cat I found Blanca Sana. The initial consultation was thorough and I felt why not try. Our therapist had already reviewed the basics of our case and recommended we try distance acupuncture as the treatment period is longer and as results results can come quicker. We had our consultation on a Wednesday and by Friday our little Binx, we named him Binx as he was a black cat, was pulling his back legs under himself and trying to stand. Since the distance acupuncture doesn’t require the needles to in the patient directly they can be placed very precisely and can remain in place for the whole week until our next consultation.  By Saturday he was trying to walk and by our next consultation he was walking with a slight limp. It was incredibly. We worked with the therapist a total of a month for him to make a full recovery and had not had any problems since. I highly recommend this amazing acupuncture service. I have been going to alternative medicine for a while since the chemical one didn't solve my problems, it was like placing a bandaid on the problems, since I have been treated with acupuncture, I'm doing better and now that is remote, I don't have to deal with the needles, since for my dry eyes, they have to be placed on my face, and having a sensitive skin, I will get bruises. Are there any side-effects?

No. There are no knowns side-effects.

How long do sessions last?

Each session lasts one week (7 days).

Do I need to do anything during the session?

No. You do not need to do anything at the beginning, during, or at the end of a session besides not engaging in any other energy therapy (i.e. acupuncture, Reiki, homeopathy, etc.) during the session since it will interrupt the work of the distance acupuncture session.

Is there any physical contact during the session?

No, there is no physical contact during the session. Not even a video call is required to start a session, although patient’s may request one if they like to discuss their health issues in more depth.

What can I expect to feel during the session?

You can expect a noticeable improvement in your health symptoms by the end of the session. During the course of the session however be aware that your symptoms may temporarily worsen at the beginning of the session. New symptoms may also appear during the course of the therapy which is a sign of a delayering of your health issue.
